Real Wedding: Halie and Bobik – Part III

June 11, 2009

As Halie’s favorite movie is Gone With the Wind, it’s no surprise that she immediately fell in love with the stately plantation at Oak Alley.  You can’t see it much in the photos, but the plantation is framed by – you guessed it – rows and rows of centuries old oak trees.  It’s an absolutely stunning venue.

Halie carried a beautiful bouquet of cream and blush colored roses, created by Le Petit Flower Shoppe in Vacherie, LA.  They incorporated her grandmother’s pendant into her bouquet, which helped Halie feel closer to her in her absense.  Such a sweet tribute.

You can just FEEL the love!

bridal party

The bridal party kept it classic in long black gowns, carrying blush and cream bouquets.

The bakery used a recipe from the groom’s mother and designed it to match the details of the bride’s gown.

I’m loving the curly willow that they incorporated into the rest of the decor.  Such a nice touch.

The bride and groom also featured a photo booth which, as you may have guessed, was a big hit with their guests.

Dang, the lighting on these photo’s are amazing. An outside wedding at night. Don’t see many of those. Very pretty. Some similarities to your own wedding.

I know. The last one is one of my favorites. The sky looks like navy blue velvet.
